Peak District Tourism Awards 2023 - Gold Winners

Amy Dillon • Mar 30, 2023

We're officially Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year!

We're extremely honoured to have been named the Peak District & Derbyshire's Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park of the Year 2023.

2023 marks our eleventh year of trading and, despite this, we have never entered any awards. When the opportunity arose to compete against some of the big name sites locally, we thought why not?

"The Peak District & Derbyshire Tourism Awards are a celebration of the passionate, hardworking and distinctive businesses who continually raise the bar of our world-class tourism offer." - Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, 2023.

To have been named Gold winner - the highest accolade - was nothing short of spectacular. The competition was so strong, namely Landal Darwin Forest and Rivendale Lodge Retreat, each of whom boast impressive credentials and beautiful sites. We were shocked but extremely proud to have been awarded with Gold.

After 11 years, it was wonderful to have been recognised for our hard work and commitment to the industry, the environment and the Peak District National Park.

Thank you to Visit Peak District & Derbyshire for the award and for the lovely awards evening at the Casa Hotel.

It's amazing to think that we're now a multi-award winning business... thank you to our wonderful customers who make this possible. We adore being your little bolthole.

We're thrilled to announce that we've been rated 5-stars by Visit England - England's official tourist board! It's the first time we've applied for an official star rating and we're over the moon to have been rated 5 stars. In their report, visit England said: "The park is maintained to an extremely high standard with a strong nature-based ethos. Nestled in the Peak District guests are guaranteed a tranquil location with stunning views and excellent facilities. The owners do a superb job in maintaining this established park to such a high level. Continual investment ensures guests can expect a high standard throughout." It's wonderful to receive some recognition for the hard work we put into the site. We promise to continue to maintain and improve what we have created here so that our standards never slip, and so our customers can continue to enjoy the landscape and location.
